CEV Development Centre Luxembourg hosts successful Event Design Course
15 participants from 5 different nations attended the event design workshop at the CEV Development Centre in Luxembourg this weekend. Participants came from a variety of backgrounds and had varying levels of experience in CEV event design.
The course ran over three days and covered a whole host of different topics including Eventisation, Video and Live-streaming, Advertising and PR as well Social Media and its role in Volleyball. The topics were covered through presentations, interactive group discussions, workshops and practical sessions. As the course ran alongside the CEV SCD European Championship Finals, participants were able to gain invaluable first hand practical experience. Furthermore, through feedback from course participants, event organisers were able to further improve the event as the weekend progressed.
The main course presenter was Daniel Schmidt who was able to convey his vast experience, both practical and theoretical, effectively to the participants, who all left with many new ideas for their future events.
The event was a great success and upcoming CEV courses include the Talent Camp for young talents on 14th-19th July 2015 and the Inspiration Tour to the CEV European Championship Finals in Rotterdam 2nd-4th October 2015 to learn about modern strategies in high level volleyball (e.g. data systems)
